Moving Forward in 2022
Fenner Dunlop Australia has announced its co-branding with Michelin. As of 1 January 2022, Fenner Dunlop Australia will be known as ‘Fenner Conveyors, A Michelin Group Company.’
This transition has been in the making since Michelin acquired Fenner Dunlop back in 2018 and was set in motion through compelling synergies between the two brands.
While Michelin is known as a trailblazer in tyre manufacturing on a global scale, they are also recognised worldwide for their actions towards sustainable mobility solutions and technological leadership.
Michelin’s growth throughout its history has been fuelled by technical innovation, with a dedicated purpose of providing a better way forward. This ethos is emulated by Fenner, with much time and resources being dedicated to finding more sustainable and efficient ways to serve its people and customers.
Executive Director, David Landgren explains, “Over the years we have strived to develop our offering for complete conveyor systems, through the purchase of several successful businesses including Belle Banne Conveyors in Victoria, Statewide Belting in Tasmania, and ACE in Queensland and New South Wales.”
“Our cobranding with Michelin will allow our group of companies to cohesively expand and enhance our capabilities in both tyres and conveyors for the mining industry.”
“2022 presents an opportunity to unify the best of both brands and work together to realise our growth aspirations within the Australian market. Embarking on this journey to Fenner Conveyors, we will continue to deliver industry leading service operations and Australian-made products, while finding a better way forward for everyone.”
